	Gedesby Bakery Gammelgade 27 Gedesby 4874 Gedser Distance: 740 metres, 2 min. by car, 10 min. walk Open daily during the main summer season. Opening days vary at other times of year, so it is worth checking when you arrive in Gedesby. Here you can get real Danish pastry (wienerbrød) as well as all sorts of different bread and cakes. Grocery Stores
	For the most local shopping experience, try Brugsen in Gedser. It is a small grocery in the Danish co-operative tradition, with a little of almost everything, and it is the closest place to Sydhavshuset for everyday groceries. Coma Marrebæk is another local option: a privately owned discount store that is part of a small Lolland-Falster chain. For a larger selection, REMA 1000 and Netto are conventional supermarkets and the better choice for a bigger shop.
